I Saved All My Lunch Money

September 27 – October 3, 2016

I saved all my lunch money for this special occasion. I’m on a budget, so nothing here is really expensive, just things that are special and matter to the one for whom they are gifted. I made dinner and Superhero didn’t die—that is the first good news. Travel has been a big part of our life lately, so I made a dinner that traveled around the world.

It started in Italy with Naan bread cut into isosceles triangles, baked to give a crunch that would not be lost when they were drizzled in white truffle oil sprinkled with porcini & tartufi. Then on to Greece for a Mediterranean salad complete with feta cheese and Kalamata olives. The meal then pushed into Asia for some cedar plank Salmon balanced with American roasted red potatoes. The final dish was dessert . . . mmmm.

Now I’m hungry again (laugh). I better change the subject before I end up in the kitchen.

Status report: project-N is finding resources and development and writing is in a holding pattern, but I’m comfortable it is in the right place. I have been toying with a subplot, for an already written manuscript, that I may use to tighten the weave of the story. I’m not sure about all the details, but the big picture is there.

Speaking of big picture, below are the Sudoku answers for puzzle number 13. I thought I would have the ARC from The Operator to add some interest in the give away for the Peri Reed series, but I haven’t heard anything yet. Simon & Schuster may be doing something different. However, I’m going to give it another week. Regardless check out the how to play rules and get ready to win!

How To Play

Also, I’ve added a clue to the riddle writer page for anyone interested in knowing who Kim signed the give away Witch With No Name book to.
