December library Book Tour stop was in Orlando and had a special flare because I was able to combine it with the joys of the holiday season!

The promotion for The Hidden Relic Hunter began with the Library Book Tour launch in November and the first library visit on the tour was completed in November. The first library selected is in Lewisburg, WV near the Greenbrier hotel that fostered some of the inspiration for the Galactic Core Station Hotel.

November also had me testing new waters with social media as I prepared for the first steps to promote my debut Science Fiction book, The Hidden Relic Hunter. It was fun to play around with social media and put some life into the experiences that are all too common for writers.

Authors know the reality of setting an idea down on paper only to see the character step off the page and say, “Nah, I’m doing something different.”

“But why?”

“I don’t have to explain myself to you.”

And thus begins the battle to discover why.
