TOGETHER: The Cook, The Baker, and The Sweet Candy Maker

December 2018 – January 2019

I’m rewriting at about 20,000 leagues under the sea right now and it feels amazing. It is like diving below the water and finding the iceberg of world building (that accumulated below the surface as you worked) is filled with gold!

So, I’ve done this before when I had to be away for a while and it seemed to work. My schedule limits my writing time and it seems best to apply the time I do have to my manuscript, so I post and visit social media only intermittently. However, when I do I try to broadly reach back over a few moments.

Some days you’re the peacock premiering, some days you’re the busy butterfly in the back; either day is a good day… you can fly.  🙂

So,  my family asked what we were bringing for Christmas dinner. I said “lemonade”. Hahaha

And, the lemons keep giving: when you love your new decanter, but want to keep your neurons – yep, lemonade.

New clothes help bring positive energy to the workplace:-)

Winston decided to join a book club. He traded the book for socks once it was unwrapped, but made an executive decision to keep the gingerbread.

Sometimes, you have to guard your Mingo – but geez – it’s exhausting.

Like writing, the vintage year – though a single year –  represents investment in the product for many years.

“Bold color, big print!” and no I’m not describing my arse in my new Christmas attire. hahaha

If at first you don’t succeed, just add sprinkles.

My reminder of the conference with the free food.

When your name is Bruce Banerdt and pronounced Bruce Banner; facing gamma rays – yeh, it’s real.

There is something strange about you when someone shows you their sightseeing photos and you do this.

When your philosophy is the next person sitting will have time to install it.

If someone doesn’t listen you seldom need to adjust the sound, but it may help to change the record your playing.

If one door opens when another one closes – your house is probably haunted!

When you’re looking for Rudyard Kipling and find Anne McCaffrey, you end up with dragon fruit syrup instead of prickly pear.

Coming soon to a friend near me

You might say we did this early, but in hindsight it is never too early to tell people…

Celebrate life: It is beautiful and dark, happy and sad, joyous and painful. There is strength in perseverance, power in personal responsibility; persevere in the hard times and remember the power you have – the ability to choose your response.

For those who still do the 1-2 step in the doorways. (Grin) keep dancing!
