Women’s Week 2026
In October I will be joining thousands of women to celebrate Women’s Week. I’m participating in panels, readings, signings, and even a “Sapphic S’more” challenge. Come join us!
Make Your Sapphic S’mores Ticket the Beginning of Your Next Great Read!
Date: Wednesday, October 14, 2026
Time: 5:00–6:00 p.m., with book sales and signing to follow
Title: Sapphic S’mores: Stories by the Fire
As the sun lowers over the Provincetown waterfront, six celebrated sapphic authors will gather beside the fire to share their stories. You’re invited to join us!
Sapphic S’mores: Stories by the Fire is an intimate Women’s Week reading and signing experience hosted in East End Books’ outdoor venue on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The featured authors are Melissa Brayden, Rachel Lacey, Aurora Rey, S.E. Smyth, Rachel Spangler, and Alexis Westmore.
From 5:00–6:00 p.m., readers will enjoy brief author readings, lively conversation, playful audience participation games, and s’mores in a setting shaped by the beauty of Cape Cod. The event begins in the warmth of the autumn sunset and transitions toward the glow of firelight. We’re creating an atmosphere that is coastal, welcoming, and unmistakably Provincetown. Book sales and personal signings will follow the program.
The evening will also feature a s’more-making challenge inspired by Provincetown’s fishing heritage. With their hands transformed into “lobster claws,” the authors will compete to assemble the least messy, most elegantly presented s’more. Readers will do more than watch: audience participation will help determine which author best combines creativity, composure, and presentation under deliciously difficult conditions.
Whether you come to see an author you already love or arrive ready to discover someone new, the evening is designed to create a memorable connection between writers, readers, and books. Meet the authors, hear their work in their own voices, and purchase personally signed books to take home.
Can’t be in Provincetown? Join the celebration online and share in the readings, conversation, and fun from wherever you are. East End Books is also generously providing each reader with a ticket credit toward the purchase of any featured book at the event. Make your ticket the beginning of your next great read!
Come for the stories. Stay for the sunset, the firelight, and the question everyone will be asking: which author can conquer the lobster-claw challenge and create Provincetown’s most elegant s’more?

Worldbuilding at The SFWA Nebula Awards & Conference Event!
ENTER THE TOKOLEH–EARTH ALLIANCE WORLD BEFORE NEBULA BEGINS
This year at the world-renowned Nebula Conference in Chicago, I’ll be speaking on three panels centered on one of my favorite subjects: worldbuilding – not just as storytelling, but as the architecture beneath identity, memory, civilization, and power.
Because the Tokoleh-Earth Alliance World was never built as a backdrop.
It was built as a hidden system beneath reality itself.
If you’ve ever wondered what it would feel like to uncover relics capable of rewriting history, navigate civilizations layered beneath our own, or follow hyper-competent women into dangerous worlds where knowledge can alter humanity’s future. This is your invitation to enter before the conference doors even open.
Virtual Signing Egypt Event
Something ancient is waiting to be uncovered and this time, it’s yours.
I’m taking my stories to Egypt, signing exclusive bookplates along the Nile—inside the shadow of the pyramids, on the water where history still breathes, in places built on secrets that refuse to stay buried. While I’m traveling, I’ll be doing something I’ve never done before: signing these unique bookplates along the way and placing them into your book purchased through the link below. Each signed plate is part of the journey.
These stories are about hidden truths, powerful systems, and the women brave enough to uncover them. Now, your book carries that same energy. It will be touched by places where history, mystery, and discovery collide.
This is more than a signed copy. It’s a relic.
Limited. Unrepeatable. Impossible to forget.
Claim yours before the journey ends.
