Birds And Turtles, Pugs And Poodles

April 9-10, 2017

The best reason to have a white board isn’t the space to plot (with color) arcs for every character or the visualization of a calculation that connects application and theory, but the little messages from people you love that keeps you doing both.

The puppies left messages too (grin).

By the way, I wanted to share some cupcakes or should I say pupcakes from our recent event. There were birds, and turtles, pugs and poodles to set the stage for a beautiful event.

The celebration is over and, though more is yet to come, we’ve shifted back to our routine. I’m a quarter of the way through my manuscript.  The opportunity to flesh out details, foreshadow, and drive the plot turned my mirror inward once again and challenged me to craft at a new level. I’m still just making notes as I review the critique, but I’m pleased to see my own growth as I develop answers.

The butterfly room will soon be hosting guests I hope. I will try to keep posts up as it happens. My schedule is more complicated than usual right now, but we’ve all been there. The lemon tree regained its canopy and I noticed buds this morning. I trimmed the roots and pruned the canopy at the same time, so I was concerned about how it would do. However, the canopy regrew nicely and it seems to be very happy with its new room to root.

Project-n rolled me up and down like a rollercoaster these last six months. Even now, moments of anticipated opportunity could be dashed with the whim of an email, but for now things look good.

Sorry for the delay posting, I usually try to get this out Sunday night or Monday morning, but the good news is the little thing that had me tied up resulted in success. 🙂

  1. Here is my white board saying, “Cherish the little things, because it is the little things that make the biggest impact on our lives:.

    1. Thanks Faye B for sharing your white board saying. I hear you. If we stop and think about the little things we realize how much we take for granted.
